What other users can see
Private account information. Email addresses, password hashes, authentication tokens, and session records are not intended to be public.
Talent profiles. Profiles are private by default. If you enable discoverability, authenticated employers may search for and view the supported profile information you provide. If you separately enable a public preview, the Talent page may display your name, headline, general location, years of experience, desired role, remote preference, and selected skills.
Public talent previews. Public previews do not include resumes, desired salary, contact information, social links, employment history, education, or profile biography. You can turn off the public preview or employer discoverability at any time.
Resumes and applications. Resume files are not publicly searchable. A selected resume and application details are available to you, authorized administrators, and employers connected to the job you applied to.
Jobs and companies. Published jobs and their associated company information are public and may appear in search results, feeds, or shared links.
Public job information
FDE Jobs may collect publicly available job information from company career pages, structured data, public interfaces, and applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Workable.
We may store and display the job title, company, location, remote status, description, requirements, compensation, job URL, application URL, publication date, source details, and other public job metadata.
Public job information may be normalized, classified, summarized, or checked for changes. Aggregated listings link to the original source, which should be treated as authoritative if information differs.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, keep required records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. The application does not currently define one fixed retention period for every type of data.
Users can update profile information and replace or delete individual resumes and images through available account features. Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or records needed for security, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.
We use safeguards such as password hashing, signed access and refresh tokens, HTTP-only cookies, access controls, private resume storage, short-lived file links, and server-side authorization. No online service can guarantee complete security.
International users
FDE Jobs may be accessed internationally. Information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, the service operator should use appropriate legal and organizational safeguards for international transfers.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show the latest update.
