Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FDE Jobs. By visiting the site, creating an account, publishing a profile or job, or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

FDE Jobs is a specialized job discovery platform for Forward Deployed Engineer and related technical roles. We help candidates find opportunities and help employers publish jobs and discover candidates.

FDE Jobs is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or party to an employment relationship unless we clearly say otherwise. Employers and candidates make their own hiring, application, and employment decisions.

You must provide accurate information, keep your account current, and protect your password and account access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Candidates may create a profile, upload resumes, save jobs, and apply for jobs. You are responsible for making sure your profile, resume, links, and application information are truthful, current, and yours to share.

Profiles are private by default. If you enable discoverability, authenticated employers may search for and view the profile information you provide. A selected resume and application information may also be shared with the employer responsible for a job you apply to.

Do not include unnecessary sensitive information such as government identification numbers, financial account details, medical records, or passwords.

Employer users must be authorized to represent their company and must post real, lawful, and current opportunities. Job posts must accurately describe the role, company, location, application process, and any compensation information included.

Employers are responsible for their listings, hiring practices, communications, screening, interviews, offers, and compliance with employment, privacy, anti-discrimination, and other applicable laws.

Employer users may use candidate information only for legitimate hiring purposes. They may not resell it, use it for unrelated marketing, or contact candidates in a misleading or abusive way.

Some applications are handled on FDE Jobs. Others send you to an employer or applicant tracking website. Information submitted on an external site is handled under that site's terms and privacy policy.

FDE Jobs does not control employer responses, interview decisions, offers, background checks, or communication outside the platform. Use good judgment and verify the identity of anyone contacting you about a role.

Some listings are posted by employers. Others may be collected from publicly available company career pages, applicant tracking systems, or other permitted public sources.

Aggregated listings may be organized, summarized, or classified to improve job discovery. Information can change or contain errors, so always verify the role, requirements, location, compensation, availability, and application instructions on the original employer website before applying.

We may update, remove, close, or decline to publish a listing at any time.

You keep ownership of the profiles, resumes, job posts, company information, messages, and other content you submit.

You give FDE Jobs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must retain for legal, security, backup, or recordkeeping reasons.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. Do not upload confidential, infringing, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful material.

You may not misuse FDE Jobs. This includes:

• posting fake, misleading, discriminatory, illegal, or unrelated jobs;
• scraping candidate data, harvesting contact information, or sending spam;
• attempting to bypass security, access controls, rate limits, or account permissions;
• introducing malware or interfering with the service;
• using the service for fraud, identity theft, unlawful surveillance, or harassment; or
• copying or republishing the platform or its content in a way that violates applicable rights.

The FDE Jobs name, design, software, and original platform content belong to FDE Jobs or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of them.

The service may link to third-party websites and services. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or limit access when we reasonably believe these Terms were violated or action is needed to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

We may also add, change, pause, or discontinue features. We will try to give reasonable notice when a material change significantly affects existing users, unless an urgent legal, security, or operational issue requires faster action.

FDE Jobs is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties about the accuracy, availability, security, completeness, or suitability of the service, listings, profiles, users, or external links.

We do not guarantee that you will receive an interview, offer, candidate, hire, response, or other employment outcome. You are responsible for evaluating opportunities, employers, candidates, and communications.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FDE Jobs and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, employment, candidates, or business interruption.

Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid FDE Jobs during the previous 12 months or US$100. This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify FDE Jobs against claims and reasonable costs caused by your content, misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.
